events plus reaction equals outcome.
events in themselves have no meaning, but it is our reaction to them that creates the outcome.
i've always lived my life by this principle, not because i think events are completly meaningless, it's just always made sense in my fatalistic type view of the world. i live by the notion that cause and reaction rule and govern the world. not because ive read it like that, or it would seem to make sense, but i've seen the tapistry unravel before my eyes. each word can sway anothers perception, each action causing matter to propel in a different direction.
but now i am not so sure.
i remember walking home that night from the bar, yelling inconsistencies at the sky with you. tripping over carelessness and snow.
you thought i was just being silly.
i was finishing somebody's sentence in alburquerque i said.
the punch line to a joke that has not yet been written.
the bastard child of a pick up line gone wrong.

i spilled my coffee when i was alone this morning.
nothing was affected.
and now i'm not so sure.
