dream sequence:
i am walking through a field, the same one that appears every time i am in my normal dream scape and a two dimensional oval is floating by. I can see on both sides of the oval, but there is a liquidy silver substance much like a mirror (or as kilgore trout would call it "a leak") on the surface. I place my hand through the surface and it sucks me in, and i enter a world much like a cgi animated film. i'm awestruck, as my dream become extremely lucid even more so, but now i am aware that i am in a fantasy world, within a dream world. from the direction of the floating oval, which i can only assume leads back to the first dream lucidness, i hear a voice yelling at me. it's rob. he's angry at me for having sex with somebody else or something.
and this was the point of the dream:
i stood there having to decide whether i wanted to stay in this fantasy land and dive deeper into my mind even further (there was another floating oval which i knew led to another level), or go back to my first lucid dream and deal with the problem at hand.
reality or fantasy.
running away or facing consequences.
retreat or advancement.
but i woke up before i could make a decision.

It's funny that your dreams have actual moral outcomes. Mine are right random and have nothing to do with real life. I had one last night where I somehow got my hands on a box of ammo and a handgun. I was going to go out and shoot some shit with my cousin, but for some reason ended up giving it to some hobo on the street.
